I've got a lot of ideas for this project. I'm looking forward to doing something that I get to choose. I'm dreading the paper as I think it has to be 20 pages which I'm definitely not ready for. I have lots of ideas for what to do. This project is pretty open ended, so anything is possible, and I'm glad that we're given so much freedom to explore whatever topic we want. I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do, but I'm excited for whats to come and glad that I get to take something into my Hopefully the workload isn't too high.

Decisions, decisions! I think I've narrowed my project down to a film of some sort but I'm still deciding what my actual topic will be. I ordered a gimbal stabilizer for my camera so that should be here within the next week. I might look into getting a new lens for my camera as well. Neither the lens or the stabilizer are necessary for the project but this project might be the thing that pushes me over the edge to buy them. Additional good news is that I was completely wrong about the length of the paper. It's actually only up to 10 pages plus citations.

I think I've settled on a film about Californian native wildflowers. I'm not sure what kind of film I'm going to do whether it's a documentary, or an indie film, or a vlog type film. One idea I had was to backpack from my house all the way across into San Fransisco, and over the bridge, spreading wildflower seeds and spotting wildflowers as I go. Not sure how viable that is though.

My gimbal came! works great, and I'm super excited to use it. Already used it to film for some other non senior project stuff and it works amazingly.

Been a while since my last update. Senior project commitment posters were due today. I'm zeroed in on a film about Californian native wildflowers. I was hoping to make a short indie film somehow incorporating flowers but I don't have any actor friends and I don't want to ask any other students because they are all working on their senior projects.
